Pintrest Intrest: How Pin Chains Helps You Find What You're Looking For

Pinterest is relatively simple, and similar in concept to other social medias. Pinterest allows you to look at and save Pins made by other people or brands, which in turn you could save to have your homepage be curated to look more like whatever you have saved. While you could say other social medias do something similar, with liking and following content and their creators to see more of it, Pinterest's way of doing it allows users to create "chains" or "links" of their saved content to receive more and more Pins like the ones they save. Whether its more Pins from the same creator, or if it's Pins that the algorithm has deemed relevant or similar to your saves, Pinterest allows for a consistent and easy-to-access hub for all of your favorite interests and Pins.

Because of this system, Pinterest is also very effective in advertising products you already trust and consume. Maybe you have a particular brand or item you enjoy, saving pins of that brand or product will eventually build a catalogue that fits those interests Pinterest sees you have. Maybe there is another brand that sells the same product you like, maybe it's better than the one you already use, Pinterest could introduce you to the brand and check it out for yourself to really see the difference. These "Chains of Pins" allow you to discover products from the creators you love, or new brands entirely easier than ever.
